Kicking off 2024, platinum-selling, iconic country/rock band Sister Hazel announced the release of their new track, "Love You More," on Glide Magazine earlier this week. "We wanted this song to be fun and to represent a positive way forward after hard times. Life keeps going and there can always be a person that loves you for who you are," said band's guitarist Ryan Newell when he explained the personal message of the song to Glide Magazine. Sister Hazel is not afraid to be vulnerable, and that shows on their new single about taking a chance on love after being burned. "Love You More" was written by Andrew Copeland, Ryan Newell, and Jack Sizemore, and was produced and mixed by Ben Jackson. The song is being released today by Nashville-based label Rock Ridge Music, with distribution via Warner/ADA. "Love You More" is available for streaming and download here.

"I can love you more than anyone’s ever loved anything

I’ll catch you when you fall be there through it all you can count on me

If you thought you knew love before

I’m gonna love you more"

"'Love You More' is a really interesting story. Ryan Newell, Jack Sizemore (guitarist for Jason Aldean), and I sat down to write this song and had an absolute blast," explained guitarist Andrew Copeland. "It was one of those songs that came out fairly quickly throughout the day. Everything about it just felt really good. Years later, Sister Hazel took the song in the studio, and as we were working through it Ryan came up with a completely alternate feel to the song and added this hook to the chorus. It wasn’t two minutes and we were all high-fiving. It really reminds me of some old-school Hazel. I can’t wait to get this one out on the road and in front of people. I think it’s going to quickly become a fan favorite."

Song "All for You," topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status. Since then, the band has become firmly established not only in rock and alternative music, but now in country with four back-to-back Billboard Top Country Albums Chart entries. They have most recently co-produced a cleverly themed EP compilation series entitled “Elements,” that includes a bonus seventh track that continued throughout the series. Living up to their fan-centered reputation, the band was a pioneer in the themed cruise industry by co-founding "The Rock Boat" and annually hosts events like the “Hazelnut Hang,” and "Camp Hazelnut" that focuses on creating unique experiences and interacting with the fans. Sister Hazel has been equally attentive to connecting with their audience through social media having amassed over a million social followers. In addition to the events and touring, the band also gives back with “Lyrics For Life.” Founded by singer Ken Block, the charity unites musicians and celebrities for concerts and auctions to benefit cancer research and patient-care charities.
