The results are in! The 1st Annual Fan’s Choice Top 20 Country Music Albums chart has been talled and finalized. The top album may not come as a surprise but we’re pretty dang sure that the album chosen as the 2ND Most-Voted album will be a huge surprise.

Like our Fan’s Choice Top 40 Country Music Singles of 2012 chart, the Fan’s Choice Top 20 albums of 2012 chart was selected by your peers, the fans. It was totally up to y’all on how then voting went but in reality, the fans of the Top 5 outpace the rest of the Top 20 quite handedly with the #1 album receiving 47% of the votes. Below is a nice well-rounded list of new albums from big label, small label and DYI artists and that helps the poll round out nicely with a selection of albums that is a lot closer to what our editorial Top 30 albums of the year will showcase next week than what the Fan’s Choice Top 40 Country Music Singles Chart showcased.
