Nashville is becoming known not only for music, but for food! Battered and Brewed asked Nashville musicians and insiders to reveal their favorite spots to eat in Music City.

Country Music Artist: Chris Lane
Favorite Restaurant: I have a few favorites, for sushi I love Virago. You can’t go wrong with any of the M street locations. I love Urban Cookhouse for lunch, great healthy options. Margarita House in Mt Juliet is also delicious.

Country Music Artist: Ashton Shepard
Favorite Restaurant: Taco Mamacita!

Country Music Artist: Dylan Scott
Favorite Restaurant: Definitely Taco Mamacita and Brick Tops are two that I would choose. For down-home cooking, you can’t beat Arnold’s or The Pie Wagon. And there are a number of hot chicken places that are popping up that are supposed to be excellent if you like your chicken spicy.

Favorite Restaurant: For coffee & breakfast : Dozen Bakery and Crema Coffee, For lunch: Juice Bar or Sam & Zoe’s
For dinner : Yellow Porch, Rolf & Daughters, City House, or Bar Taco!

Country Music Artist: Morgan Wallen
Favorite Restaurant: I don’t eat out in Nashville very often, but when I do I love Moto for a good steak, Martins for BBQ, and Casa Fiesta for Mexican food.

Country Music Artist: Emma White
Favorite Restaurant: Nashville has so many new restaurants popping up. I’ve worked for a few M Street restaurants while living here and definitely have my favorite meal’s at each (Tavern, Saint Anejo, and Whiskey Kitchen). When I first moved to town, I was introduced to the kale salad at Tavern and it’s still one of my favs – I make it at home all the time too. I love Adele’s – everything about it, particularly their cauliflower salad. Burger Up is a staple – it’s so cute and cozy. The truffle fries are amazing. I also love Little Octopus – they just opened a new spot in The Gulch. I love going to just get drinks at different places like Patterson House and 5th and Taylor.

Favorite Restaurant: Pinewood Social is one of the coolest hangs in Nashville. The food and drinks are excellent, service is great, and the atmosphere is unique. They have a bowling alley, but I promise the gravy doesn’t taste like it. My favorite southern dish is the chicken fried chicken at The Southern. My wife, Kelly, and I eat that meal on every anniversary. If you like oysters, Le Sel is THE spot. The fries are unreal and the drinks are always on point. You really can’t go wrong with any Strategic Hospitality establishment.

Country Music Artist: Kristy Osmunson of American Young
Favorite Restaurant: Honestly, Avo is spectacular. Truly art on a plate. Their margaritas feel like the soprano section in the choir. They get ya right in your zinger. My all time favorite restaurant in Nashville hands down though is Sunflower. yum. As far as where I would like to go? The Catbird Seat here in Nashville. That would be dope.

Christian Music Artist: Jonny Diaz
Favorite Restaurant: I would say you have to go to Hattie B’s to get some Nashville Hot Chicken, cause thats what we are known for. There is a really great steakhouse, Kayne Prime, that has steak and really creative sides. It’s really good, but it can be pricey, so it is more of a special occasion type of place. Whiskey Kitchen is also really good. They have some great Southern cooking, shrimp and grits, things like that. There are also some great brunch places in Nashville. Stay away from Pancake Pantry on the weekend, the line is to long. Go to East Nashville to Sky Blue Cafe. That is our favorite brunch place.

Country Music Artist: Brian Davis
Favorite Restaurant: Sushi Yobi.

Country Music Artist: Anthony Orio
Favorite Restaurant: I really like Rose Pepper in East Nashville. They make a great house margarita. O Sole Mio downtown is owned by people from Calabria so the Italian there is legit. Jack’s barbecue on Broadway is still my favorite barbecue place and a must.

Christian Music Artist: Devin Williams
Favorite Restaurant: Picking one favorite is difficult! I like Piranha’s – American cheeseburgers and such, Jasmine’s – Thai food, and Coco’s Italian Market – great little authentic Italian restaurant.

Country Music Artist: Nestor AnDress
Favorite Restaurant: Bar Taco. It’s a bit fancier than one would expect from a taco place, but its worth it.

Country Music Artist: Ashliegh Lisset
Favorite Restaurant: It would have to be Hattie B’s Hot Chicken!
