
On Dolly Parton’s 76th birthday (Wednesday, January 19), the Graduate hotel will host a small birthday week kickoff event from 2-5PM with pop-ups hosted by:
- Pandy Cotton Candy
- The Tilly Goose
- The Cookie Cart
- + photographable moments under a balloon arch install by Rock Paper Scissors
On Saturday, January 22, to keep the week of Dolly fun going, guests of all ages can enjoy a family-friendly celebration fit for a country queen. Graduate Nashville is partnering with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to enjoy a live reading of the children’s book Sir Drake the Brave by author Joy Jordan-Lake, followed by a clay craft led by illustrator Susan Eaddy. Event activities will include:
- Pandy Cotton Candy
- crafts from The Tilly Goose
- Local art from Joanna Dee
- cookies from Frosted in Franklin
- Clay crafts for kids
- Chance to speak with Imagination Library team to learn how to enroll your lil’ one
Tickets (can be purchased here) are $10 per family, which directly benefits the Imagination Library program. You can even add a clay craft activity for $5. The book reading will begin at 12 p.m. with the clay craft session following afterwards.
