Country Radio Seminar 2011-Nashville

What a crazy week it was in Nashville Tennessee!!! CRS went down with a huge bang!! We were honored to kick it off with Nixa Country Radio at Big Shotz downtown on Wednesday March 2,2011!! First up that night was the ever so talented Madonna Nash! She gave out tons of Cd’s and cd cases and defiantly took over the room with her amazing voice!! Next was the powerful Chris Hurt, talk about a stage rush and an energy filled show!! He also made himself available to autograph pictures and cd’s. Last that we saw was the fabulous Richie Scholl!! Wow what an amazing guitar player and vocalist!! I highly recommend to head over to and request some of these artists music!

After the show we headed down broadway and handed out fliers for Nashville Music Guide, Nixa County, New Edge Media, and Picks Nashville! We love being able to get out and talk with people about things going on in Nashville and inform them of places and services they may not know about. And especially invite folks to our favorite artists shows!

Once the fliers were gone we headed on down to the Bridge Bar at the Renaissance Hotel to hang out with tons and tons of radio friends and artists. I think I saw everyone I have ever met in music that night! Another big highlight of the night was getting to meet the amazing Toby Keith who was just hanging out!

After that we wrapped up our Day one of CRS week! On Friday, Lisa made her trip up to Nashville to hangout! I was to go to the Opry with my favorite person from 100.9 The Bull but gotta love Nashville traffic and missed the shuttle. So instead we started at the bridge Bar again and hung out with the awesome people at TCM Records such as Craig Moritz and Chris Caskey and other friends such as Chris Hurt and his management! We made our way down to Tootsies and ended the night the best way ever listening to Anthony Orio and The Goodfellers! WHAT A WEEK again! Please go and check out all the artists mentioned here and also Nixa country Radio! Thanks to everyone that we had the pleasure to meet and get music from! Can’t wait to see where 2011 takes us!
