Following a whirlwind week of appearances around Music City, Blackfoot Gypsies are celebrating the official release of their hard-hitting blues rock album, To The Top, available NOW on iTunes and Amazon. The self-produced, 15-track project is released by Plowboy Records.

The Gypsies will kick off the To The Top Tour with an album release show tonight at Little Harpeth Brewing in Nashville. Doors open at 8 p.m., with the band taking the stage at 9 p.m. Click HERE for tickets.

Locals can hear the band LIVE from The Family Wash today on WMOT-FM/Roots Radio 89.5 at NOON C.T. Buzz is building across town following interviews with WSM-AM’s “Root 650” and Lightning 100/WRLT-FM. The foursome is also fresh off the heels of a listening party at Fond Object to promote the record’s ‘Vinyl Tuesday’ release, as well as a high-energy set that kept the crowd on its feet at Plowboy Records’ 5th Anniversary Party Wednesday night.

To The Top boasts lead single “I Had A Vision,” along with the twangy track “Potatoes and Whiskey” featuring backing vocals by Margo Price. Groovy “Back To New Orleans” and foot-stomper “Everybody’s Watching” also adorn the band’s “most diverse record to date,” taking listeners on an hour-plus musical ride they won’t jump off of anytime soon.

“…a tough, guitar-heavy, roots-rocking throw-down, delivered with caffeinated, sexed-up slutty swagger and gobs of gritty guts.” – American Songwriter

“Nashville-based roots rockers deliver a hearty and full-bodied rock ’n’ roll platter…” – No Depression

“…the Gypsies spin the sort of rock & roll that’s always barreling through the dust, collecting hints of blues, soul and country along the way but shaking off anything that might weigh them down.” – Rolling Stone Country
